Leadership Team
Nathan Filip
CEO
Nathan has 10+ years in the landscaping industry. He attended horticulture classes at the College of DuPage and business classes at DeVry University. Nathan has been an entrepreneur since he was a kid, from lemonade stands to ownership in a sound and lighting production company. He has always had a true passion for the outdoors and landscape, starting out small with mowing lawns and shoveling driveways. Nathan loves to be presented with new challenges by clients and can nearly always find a way to accommodate a request! He tends to over-engineer projects, because of his firm belief in doing things right the first time. In the off-season, you may find him sneaking away from the cold to scuba dive.
Matt Cook
President
With more than 10 years in the landscaping industry, Matt attended horticulture classes at Illinois State University and business classes at DeVry University. As a youngster, you would often find Matt playing soccer or building a tree house, rather than inside playing video games. He loves working out in the field and can be found with the crews on a day-to-day basis. Matt always works diligently to ensure our clients are 100% satisfied, and our employees are safe and happy. He ensures all equipment is properly maintained and is up to date with herbicide and pesticide application processes. When Matt gets time off, you can find him fishing up in northern Wisconsin.
Josh Murawski
Vice President of Operations
As owner and operator of Murawski Construction Josh has been involved in delivering outdoor living spaces throughout the Chicagoland area for the past 15 years. A carpenter by trade, he holds a BA in Technology Education from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in Technology Implementation from Lewis University in Romeville, IL. Josh believes in delivering the highest of quality in every aspect of the build process – from concept to completion.
Jason L. Brown
Vice President of Business Development
Jason has over several years of construction experience, Jason attended Illinois State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. As a kid Jason was always fascinated with electronics and building different things. On many occasions he would be found taking apart the family computer learning how to put it back together instead of typing up his English paper. As he got older that passion turned to rehabbing and building motorcycles with his dad in the summer. Jason brings that same fascination to work always trying to find new and creative ways to meet the customers expectation. In his free time, you can find Jason catching a ball game or visiting family in Florida.
